About Your Provider
Dr. Kleinsmith completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at Michigan State University and Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. After her residency, she remained on staff at Henry Ford, where she was involved with teaching residents, research and an active clinical practice. During this time, she also enjoyed working with the media. She was a medical reporter on WDIV, News Channel 4 Evening News, and hosted a weekly television program called “Health Talks” and an “Ask the Doctor” call-in radio program on Detroit’s WXYZ station.
Her current practice includes general dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology, with particular interest in cosmetic dermatology, Botox treatments and fillers. She is affiliated with the Michigan Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Kleinsmith has been named a “Top Doc” for many years.
