Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that involves the use of a focused light beam (laser) to eliminate undesired hair. This treatment permanently destroys hair follicles and effectively delays hair growth for long periods.

What is it?

Opting for professional laser hair removal sets the benchmark for permanently removing unwanted hair. Say goodbye to razors, pesky red bumps, frequent waxing sessions, skin irritation, and mediocre at-home treatments. Our expert team targets nearly all areas where unwanted hair persists, including the legs, underarms, bikini area, back, chin, face, arms, hands, and feet. Given that hair undergoes various stages of growth simultaneously, most individuals typically need between 6 to 8 sessions to achieve complete hair elimination in a specific area.

What to expect

During your laser hair removal session, a Midwest provider will direct the laser at the targeted area of your skin. The hair follicles absorb the laser energy, heating up to a point where they are permanently disabled, preventing future hair growth. While patients may experience some discomfort, it's often less than anticipated. Since laser treatments are most effective on actively growing hair follicles, multiple sessions are typically needed to achieve complete hair removal.
