Dr. Daniel Stewart has been practicing dermatology in Clinton Township for over thirty years and is a leader in the Michigan dermatology community. He attended Wayne State University and completed medical school at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. After finishing his Mount Clemens General Hospital internship, he completed internal medicine and dermatology residencies at Wayne State University.
As an educator, he has served as a professor of dermatology at Michigan State University and a clinical associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at Wayne State University. He is also the senior clinical investigator at the Michigan Center for Skin Care Research and the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital, Livingston, Dermatology Residency Training Program director. In addition, Dr. Stewart is the chairman of the Department of Dermatology at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. He has served on the Michigan Dermatological Society’s Board of Directors since 1975. He is also on the consulting staff of McLaren Macomb and Trinity Health (formerly St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital) in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Steward is the author of many academic publications and presentations. Dr. Stewart has been named to numerous “Best Doctor” and “Top Doctor” lists, including the HOUR Detroit Magazine list for many consecutive years.
