About Your Provider
Dr. Gildenberg is an expert in clinical dermatology. He graduated from the University of Michigan and the Wayne State University School of Medicine. After his internship at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, he completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He is board-certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Gildenberg is the past President of the Michigan Dermatological Society. He has also served the society as the CLIA committee chairman, and he created the quality assurance program used by most dermatologists throughout the state. He was a founding faculty member of the St. Joseph’s Mercy Livingston (Trinity Health) dermatology residency program and a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University. Dr. Gildenberg is on staff at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Corewell East Troy Beaumont Hospital and Harper Hospital.
He is the author of many academic publications and presentations. Dr. Gildenberg has been named to numerous “Best Doctor” and “Top Doctor” lists, including the HOUR Detroit Magazine list for many years and, most recently, their “Best of the Best” list.
