Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure to treat uneven skin tone and texture.

What is it?

As we grow older, our skin starts to lose its suppleness, and the production of our collagen and elastin proteins decelerates, making our skin look lifeless and becoming more prone to damage, scarring, and spots. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive aesthetic treatment that rejuvenates the skin by eliminating dead skin cells and stimulating cell regeneration, leading to a smoother and more glowing complexion. It also enhances the appearance of skin affected by sun exposure, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and revealing refreshed and radiant skin!


What to expect

Microdermabrasion is appropriate for both men and women of all ages and skin types. During a microdermabrasion treatment, your provider will use a device to delicately and gently exfoliate the skin's outer layer, eliminating dead skin cells. During this procedure, you might experience a sensation similar to your skin being scratched. This sensation is normal and painless. The duration of the procedure usually ranges from 20 minutes to an hour, depending on the area that needs treatment.


Post-treatment, your skin might exhibit a faintly rosy or vibrant hue, but this typically subsides within several hours, revealing a smooth, rejuvenated, and radiant complexion. A bonus advantage is that your skincare products will penetrate your skin more effectively since the dry, dead skin cells have been cleared away.
