What is it?
The dermatology team at Midwest is well-equipped to care for young patients, ranging from newborns and toddlers to adolescents. We are experienced in diagnosing and treating all pediatric skin conditions including acne, atopic dermatitis or eczema, diaper rash, birthmarks, warts, molluscum contagiosum, impetigo, contact dermatitis, hemangiomas and hair disorders.
Recognizing the need for a relaxed approach in these situations, we strive to mitigate any anxiety the child and the caregiver feel. We strive to provide age-appropriate explanations so both the patient and parent are engaged in the process.
